PALM SUNDAY

PALM SUNDAY – (Sl. Verbnoye Voskresenye) The Sunday before Easter when the triumphant entry of Christ into Jerusalem is celebrated. In the Russian Church willow branches are blessed and the people hold the branches with lighted candles during the service.
