VENERABLE-MARTYR

VENERABLE-MARTYR – One of the various customary saint titles used in commemoration at divine services when remembering saints on the Church Calendar.  A martyred monastic.

ARCHIMANDRITE

ARCHIMANDRITE – In Greek the word means “the head of a monastery.” A monastic rank just below the bishop. An Archimandrite has the right to wear the mitre and the mantia.
