The Re-Openning of Our Parish (Update)

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

CHRIST IS RISEN!            INDEED HE IS RISEN!

Effective Friday, May 28, the State of New Jersey is lifting all mask mandates and social distancing requirements.  In the previous Executive Order, Gov. Murphy stated Churches could operate at 100% capacity while maintaining social distancing.

Therefore, effective this weekend, masks will no longer have to be worn in Church by those that are fully vaccinated.  Those that are not fully vaccinated are, per CDC and the State of New Jersey mandate, requested to continue to wear a mask.  To be considered fully vaccinated, you must have received both doses of either the Moderna or Pfizer vaccine or the single Johnson & Johnson vaccine and it has been two weeks since the last dose.  Also, we no longer need to social distance while in Church.
That being said, it is perfectly acceptable to continue to wear your mask if you do not feel comfortable without it in an indoor situation and to socially distance.

We will no longer be taking temperatures when you enter the Church and asking you to sign up to come to Church.  Church is open to all!  However, we would request that you continue to use the hand sanitizer that will be at the candle stand.  Icons will be cleaned before and after Liturgy.   Please venerate the Icons in a way that is respectful and that you feel comfortable.

Please continue to pray for our Church family, especially Mary Ann Kuzemchak.  You all remain in my prayers.

I look forward to seeing and welcoming all of you in Church!

Yours In the Risen Lord,
Fr. Matthew
